BOODIL LTD - PRIZE DRAW TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. About Us

1.1 The Prize Draws are organised by Boodil Ltd, which is a company incorporated and registered in England and Wales with the company number 13990233 whose registered office is at Unit 80 Atlantic Business Centre, Atlantic Street, Broadheath, Altrincham WA14 5NQ (Boodil, we, us, our).

1.2 We operate an alternate payment method which offers a reward system of redeemable points to its users (Boodil).

2. The Prize Draws

2.1 Our Prize Draws are free to enter and are held on the following basis:

2.1.1 each day (the Daily Prize Draw);

2.1.2 each week (the Weekly Prize Draw); 

2.1.3 each month (the Monthly Prize Draw); and 

2.1.4 each quarter, a quarter being a period of three calendar months (the Quarterly Prize Draw),

(each a Prize Draw, together the Prize Draws).

3. Eligibility 

3.1 Prize Draws are open to all UK residents aged 16 years or over, except the directors of Boodil or any third party directly associated with administration of the Prize Draws, who may not enter any Prize Draws. Our Prize Draws can be entered by our employees, their families and our agents, and winners of our Prize Draws are chosen at random by a computer process from all entrants to the relevant Prize Draw. 

3.2 You must have a registered Boodil Account and points to redeem in order to enter a Prize Draw. 

3.3 By entering a Prize Draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and to claim any prize you may win. We may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Prize Draw and we reserve the right to carry out all such verification as is reasonably necessary to ascertain the eligibility of any entrant or winner.

4. How to Enter

4.1 Prize Draws are free to enter and open to anyone who has a Boodil Account.

4.2 Where you purchase a product from a third-party vendor using the Boodil payment method, we will automatically allocate points to the email address you provide at the point of purchase.  To redeem your points, you are required to set up a free account with Boodil on our website https://www.boodil.com/get-the-app (a Boodil Account), following which you can choose to redeem these points to enter a Prize Draw. 

4.3 All entries must be submitted via our mobile application and only one entry per Boodil Account is permitted for each Prize Draw.

4.4 The opening date for entries is at 00.00.01 on the following days (as applicable):

4.4.1 on each day for the Daily Prize Draw;

4.4.2 on a Monday for the Weekly Prize Draw;

4.4.3 on the Monday after the final Sunday of a month for the Monthly Prize Draw; and

4.4.4 on the Monday after the final Sunday of a quarter for the Quarterly Prize Draw.

4.5 The closing date of the Prize Draws is 23.59.59 on the following days (as applicable):

4.5.1 on the day for that Daily Prize Draw;

4.5.2 on the Sunday of a given week for that Weekly Prize Draw;

4.5.3 on the final Sunday of a given month for that Monthly Prize Draw; and

4.5.4 on the final Sunday of a given quarter for that Quarterly Prize Draw,

(the Closing Date). Entries received after this time will not be counted.

4.6 We do not accept any responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.

5. Prize

5.1 The winner will receive the prize for the Prize Draw which they have entered as described on mobile app.

5.2 There will be only one winner per Prize Draw. 

5.3 The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable and non-transferable.

5.4 The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a particular prize with a cash alternative and where a cash alternative is available we will be notify the value of the cash alternative to you prior to you entering the relevant Prize Draw as described on our mobile app or at https://www.boodil.com/vouchers.

5.5 Our prizes are supplied by third party providers, whose details are provided on our mobile app and via the following link pertaining any voucher prizes: https://www.boodil.com/vouchers.  The third party supplying the prize will contact the winner and provide them with the date on which they can expect to receive their prize.  We reserve the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control makes it necessary to do so.

6. Winner Notification

6.1 A winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process on the day after the Closing Date of the relevant Prize Draw.

6.2 We will notify the prize winner by email (using the details provided at entry) within twenty four (24) hours of the relevant Prize Draw closing.

6.3 The winner must confirm by email to Boodil that they accept the prize within twenty-eight (28) days of receiving the notification from us.

6.4 If a winner does not respond to us within twenty-eight (28) days of being notified by us, then that winner will be disqualified and we will be entitled to select another winner by random draw from the entrants to the relevant Prize Draw.

6.5 We will send the relevant prize to the winner by email within ten (10) days of their response to us following notification of their win in accordance with Condition 6.3. If there is any delay in sending the relevant prize to the winner, we will notify the winner of such delay and provide an estimate to the winner of when they may expect to receive their prize.

6.6 We will either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, we will send the first name and county of major prize winners and, if applicable, copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails info@boodil.com or writes to Boodil Ltd, Unit 80, Atlantic Business Centre, Atlantic Street, Broadheath, Altrincham, WA14 5NQ. (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one (1) month after the Closing Date of the relevant Prize Draw. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact us by info@boodil.com. In such circumstances, we will still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

7. Limitation of Liability

Insofar as is permitted by law, Boodil, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Boodil, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

8. Data Protection 

Personal data supplied or collected as part of our operating Prize Draws including entry to the same, will be processed in accordance with our Prize Draw Privacy Notice https://www.boodil.com/prize-draw-privacy. See also Condition 6.6 with regard to the announcement of winners.

9. General

9.1 By entering a Prize Draw you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.  If you do not agree to these prize terms and conditions please do not redeem your points or enter into a Prize Draw.  

9.2 We reserve the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these prize draw terms and conditions. 

9.3 Our decision regarding any aspect of a Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it. 

9.4 We reserve the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend Prize Draws where we deem it necessary to do so.

10 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Prize Draws will be governed by English law and entrants to each Prize Draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
